Project Description:

This project included all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to perform dewatering, mass excavation, shoring and installation of 96 LF of 84” reinforced concrete pipe under active railroad.  Precise coordination and 24-hour operations of several different crews were required to install the 84” culvert within a 72-hour shutdown window.

This project was awarded the 2019 American Public Works Association Stormwater Project of the Year for the overall scope and success of the project, especially the construction coordination and project schedule
