Project Description:

This project included all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to complete a sitework improvement project consisting of the construction of 5 new hard tennis courts with lighting; and adding 61 parking spaces providing access to Caswell Street. More specifically, work consisted of surveying, and clearing & grubbing 1.5 AC; removing 650 SY of concrete, 74 LF of 24” curb & gutter, 5 drainage structures, 500 LF of drainage pipe, 210 LF of water line, 1 softball field, and 14 light poles; installing erosion control measures, 35 inlet protection structures, 2700 LF of silt fence, 1 temporary construction entrance, 1 check dams, 1200 LF of tree protection, 5 new tennis courts, 4 signs, and 2 AC of seeding; performing excavation; rough grading 800 CY of borrow; placing 1,324 SY of light duty pavement, 2,697 SY of heavy duty pavement, 84 LF of 24” curb & gutter, 19 wheel stops, 392 LF of 4” PVC conduit, 1,200 LF of pavement markings, 7 pavement symbols, 817 SY of concrete sidewalk, 24 drop inlets, 204 LF of ACO trench drain, 68 LF of 4” PVC drain pipe, 71 LF of 12” RCP class III, 31 LF of 12” RCP class IV, 670 LF of RCP class III, 198 LF of 15” RCP class IV, 87 LF of 18” RCP class III, 67 LF of RCP class IV, 393 LF of 24” RCP class III, 102 LF of 36” RCP class III; landscaping; and electrical work including new tennis court lighting.
